30 Mentors in 30 Days

We did it!  Mentor Iowa is happy to announce that we were able to have over 30 KIOA listeners learn more about becoming a mentor in our program.  Thank you to Maxwell and Pam of Maxwell and Pam in the Morning on KIOA for the on-air interviews and promoting our program.

We still have children on our waiting list who can use a mentor.  Please contact our office to learn more about becoming a mentor at 515-277-9797.

Mentoring Facts

The Four Things Kids
Need:

1. Time – One-on-one, face-to-face time spent with a caring adult
2. Action – Words and promises are not enough
3. Consistency – Young people need someone they can count on and trust
4. Truth – Excuses and fabrications destroy trust
